The idea for IFPP grew out of MPCC’s long-standing working relationship with Paul Shaw. With more than 30 years of experience in the industrial hose industry, Paul had supplied and assembled hoses for MPCC across a wide range of demanding marine and engineering applications.

Over the years, that relationship grew into a trusted partnership built on shared knowledge, practical experience, and a common understanding of what customers need from an engineering supplier. Paul brought extensive knowledge of industrial and hydraulic hoses, assemblies, and applications, while the Bray brothers brought their experience of supporting customers throughout the marine and wider engineering industries.

Recognising the strength of that combination, Tom, Josh and Ethan established IFPP as a separate sister company to MPCC and brought Paul into the business as Service Centre Manager. His technical knowledge and industry experience now sit at the heart of the day-to-day work carried out from IFPP’s Leeds service centre.

IFPP was created to offer customers more than a product catalogue. The aim was to provide informed advice, accurately specified components and carefully engineered hose assemblies, supported by genuine industry experience and a practical understanding of demanding applications.

 Today, IFPP supplies industrial, hydraulic, metallic, PTFE, composite, and specialist hose products, along with hose assemblies, couplings, adaptors, and associated components. From its Leeds base, the company supports customers throughout the UK across marine, manufacturing, power generation and other industrial sectors.

 Although IFPP is a relatively young company, its experience spans decades. The business is built on specialist knowledge, honest advice, dependable service and the belief that strong customer relationships are created through trust, accuracy and consistent support.
